“Simple Man” is the fourth track from the southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd’s first album, (Pronounced ‘lĕh-‘nper’ skin-‘nper), released in 1973.

The song was a great success from the beginning and is and has been, after “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird”, the third most listened to by the group.

It has a fairly simple structure: it begins with an arpeggio in C Major (Do / Sol / Lam / Lam7), on that same arpeggio the voice sings the verses and on those same chords but changing the arpeggio for a more rock-hard and forceful choruses. , all this alternated with some guitar solos.
