Product Description

“Jesus Just Left Chicago” is a song by the Texas blues rock band ZZ Top included on their third album “Tres Hombres”, published in 1973 by the London Records label.

The song is a blues in G, with slight variations in the structure, in which the band shows great strength and rhythmic solvency and Billy Gibbons shows some of his most typical resources, both in riffs and soloing.

It goes together with “Waitin’ for the Bus”, without any type of pause or cut, practically as if they were a single song, and they open the album. For years they were played on American radios and stations together.

Personnel:
– Billy Gibbons: Vocals and guitar.
– Dusty Hill: Bass.
– Frank Beard: Drums.
