Sample Audio:

“Six Blade Knife” is a song composed by the singer, guitarist and leader of the British band Dire Straits for their self-titled first studio album, recorded from February 13 to March 5, 1978 at Basing Street Studios in London and released in June of that same year.

The song was included as the fourth track on side A of the album and perfectly represents the clean and direct sound of the band in its early days, the sound of a pub band, with clear blues and country influences.

Personnel:
– Mark Knopfler: Vocals and lead and rhythm guitar.
– David Knopfler: Rhythm guitar.
– John Illsley: Bass.
– Pick Withers: Drums and percussion.
