Born To Run

“Born To Run” is a song written by American musician Bruce Springsteen in 1974 for his third self-titled album, released in 1975. It has been placed in several specialized lists, such as Rolling Stone or Acclaimed Music, among the best songs in history.

After two albums with acceptable reviews but well below expectations in sales, Bruce and his band, the E Street Band, were playing it with the third and, finally, thanks to songs like “Born To Run” itself, “Thunder Road “, “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” or “Jungleland”, achieved massive popularity and success among the general public.

Many bands and artists have covered it, including McFly, Suzi Quatro, Free Wild or Frankie Goes To Hollywood, who included it on their successful debut album “Welcome To The Pleasuredome”.
