Tunnel Of Love

“Tunnel Of Love” is the first song from the third album by the English band Dire Straits, recorded and released in 1980 at Power Station in New York and composed by its singer, guitarist and leader, Mark Knopfler. The song’s intro, “The Carousel Waltz”, was credited to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

It is the first track that the band features a keyboard player, Roy Bittan, of the E Street Band, and former member David Knopfler, although he had already recorded some tracks, was removed from the credits after a dispute with his brother Mark. and his recordings were removed and replaced by his own brother and Sid McGuinnis.
