The song’s music was originally composed by blues guitarist Buddy Guy for his 1967 album “A Man And The Blues”, adding traditional lyrics from the children’s song of the same title.

Stevie adapted it to his trio format and gave a little more power to the guitar riffs and solos, making it one of the indispensable songs in his live shows, such as “Live at The El Mocambo” in Toronto, Canada.
